The purpose of the activity is to encourage residents of Ida County to take small steps toward improving health and wellness. For most people, making one small change, and working to make that change a habit, is easier than committing to a completely different diet or exercise plan.
Each participant is asked to record his or her wellness points each day during the 30-day challenge. Participants are free to pick their own activities each day. Examples of two and four point activities are listed with the calendar.
If you complete one activity each day your name will be entered into a prize drawing.
Calendars are due July 6 to Horn Public Health. They can be sent as an attachment to idaalive@hornmemorialhospital.org or mailed to Horn Public Health, 701 E. 2nd St., Ida Grove, IA 51445
